About the Instructor
Liesl Hake holds a B. S. in Biology from Grove City College. Her senior research focused on cancer biology and immunotherapies. Her Grove City education also included a strong Humanities core. Liesl’s love of science is informed by her persuasion that the scientific disciplines fit well into the whole immense and meaningful realm of God’s created order, and that the sciences are studied with most excellence when they are approached with an appreciative attitude of wonder. Liesl’s teaching experiences include middle and high school courses in science and Spanish for local homeschool co-ops, and in music theory and English to students in a Nicaraguan school and orphanage.
